The 19th “Kitchen Day” (Tag der Küche) will take place on 29 September 2018 and will once again be the subject of intense media coverage as well as widespread and no less intense interest from the general public. The high levels of customer interest in the 19th Kitchen Day and active participation by traders remain unabated. In particular, the number of participants from the kitchen trade who will exhibit and take an active role in the event is expected to rise again this year. A central theme shaping the event will be the encouragement of participants from the trade to establish local partnerships (e.g. with wine merchants, cookery schools or delicatessen shops). In 2018, “Kitchen Day” is again guaranteed to generate intense media interest.
This success is in large part due to the actively involved members from the trade and the sponsors from the industry: without them, an event as successful as the Kitchen Day would not be possible. The event confirms once again not only how important support is, but also how the individual trader who engages actively can fully benefit from the event.
In order to bring about this day even more successfully in future, a dedicated project team in the Marketing and Public Relations working group has been established to make the arrangements for future “Kitchen Days”.
