AMK exhibits at the CIKB again

For the second time, the CIKB (China International Kitchen and Bathroom Appliances & Technology Expo) is being held between 5th and 7th November 2014 in Shanghai. And AMK Die Moderne Küche Service GmbH with its full subsidiary AMK (Beijing) Con-sulting Co. Ltd. will be represented at the rejuvenated CIKB. The trade fair, which is being organised jointly by Koelnmesse and the China National Hardware Association (CNHA), will be held in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center for the first time.

“The new CIKB concept is a convincing one. On the one hand, we get the opportunity to explain to Chinese visitors what we think makes a modern fitted kitchen. And on the other hand, many of our members are concentrating on LivingKitchen which will be held in Cologne in January. We want to also use the trade fair in Shanghai to advertise in favour of a trade fair appearance at LivingKitchen in Cologne. The international na-ture is, as is always the case, one of the most important factors of a suc-cessful trade fair. CIKB is able to make its contribution here.“ says Kirk Mangels, CEO of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche e.V. (AMK).

This year, AMK will be sharing a CIKB stand with LivingKitchen. This shared stand will also offer the company zeyko the opportunity to con-vince customers to visit LivingKitchen in Cologne with one of their special kitchens. Bosch, Siemens, Naber, Carat, Gaggenau and Vöhringer are further brands of AMK member companies who are also going to be pre-sent at CIKB this year. At the same time, there will also be a number of Chinese exhibitors, for example, Golden Home, Fotile und Haier.

“The CIKB offers a platform that enables the representation of the mod-ern kitchen in China. Along with the other German companies taking part zeyko would like to make their contribution towards the enthusiasm of Chinese visitors for kitchens “Made in Germany” and to encourage them to visit the LivingKitchen which will take place in January.”, says Andreas Kress, CEO of zeyko Möbelwerk GmbH & Co. KG and chairman of Ar-beitsgemeinschaft Die Moderne Küche e.V. (AMK), on behalf of the German exhibitors.

AMK will be supporting the Koelnmesse in all press activities with a focus on LivingKitchen. In addition, AMK with CNHA-Kitchen Branch, will be organising a joint symposium during the CIKB. Kirk Mangels adds: “Build-ing up a closely knit network in China is important both to the aims of our members with regard to the Chinese market and to the members intend-ing to exhibit at LivingKitchen. A successful CIKB is thus beneficial. The shared AMK/LivingKitchen stand is intended to contribute towards this.” (AMK)
